My dad was a drummer as a kid, so he carried his hobby into his adult life and I was exposed to it at a young age.
Played in every band that I could all through elementary, middle and high school (marching band, concert band, orchestra, percussion ensemble, etc.).
Went to Towson University from 2004-2009 and graduated with my degree in Percussion Performance. I was in the percussion ensemble, marching band, pep band, orchestra, concert band, world music ensemble, jazz band, pit orchestra for the theater department and countless small group ensembles.
I have taught multiple high school drum lines (Liberty High School, North Carroll High School, Century High School), played in a number of bands in the local music scene and was a member of the pit orchestra in many musicals throughout the state.
